We wanted to know what math had to do with life, so we asked teachers and students. This is a survey about the jobs that kids like that include math. The pie chart that is on the top shows the percentage of people who picked some jobs that need math. Not all jobs are listed, but there are still more jobs in the world that need math.

We asked some of the teachers if they could tell us some of the jobs that need math. What they said is written below for you to read. So enjoy what you read.

We Mr. Rojas said was, "Math is needed in so many jobs. For example: business owner, a professor, a doctor, architect, engineer, etc. A party at home to know how much you will spend, for an bank account to know how much you input and output. And also the allowance you will get and spent it on things you need."

We Mr. Kashman said was, "The jobs that need math are a mechanic, a construction worker, a teacher, and a lawyer. Still there are more jobs. The people who work harder earn more money than others who don't, but it depend s on the job that you work in."

What Mr. Ortega said was, " The jobs that need math are an accountant which is someone who manages your money. A boss of managing a business or a factory;...math teachers, etc."

What Mrs. Mc Quillin said was, "Many of the jobs need some kind of math. Statistics, pyschologists, sociologists, biologists, scientists, and pharmacists. Other jobs - high level math- civil engineering, mechanical, environmental, and electric engineering. Many jobs in aerospace- rockets & planes. Accountants, banking C.P.O. (people who do your taxes), plumbers, woodcrafters, stone workers, bakers, business people."
